A new blessing

                                                     

We have a sweet addition to our family--a new nephew! Mark and Destin had a beautiful baby boy, Tucker Beau. He is so precious--just yummy! The kids and I had the privilege of staying with them the week he was born so we could help with big brother Nash. J & G had so much fun playing with Nash all week and were quite excited to meet their new cousin. Now, if we could just figure out a way to make Ft. Worth a little closer to Houston...we miss them already and need more Tucker time!

San Antonio

We took a short family vacation the first week of August to San Antonio to take the kids back to Sea World. It's definitely the perfect amusement park for pre-school kids and now they've opened a new park called Aquatica. Aquatica is a super fun water park! The kids' favorite ride was a family tube ride where we rode through an aquarium of Stingrays. We also all loved the lazy river and spent a good deal of time on that. It had waterfalls to go through and rapids and was a hit.

This time we stayed at a hotel across the street from Sea World and just took the shuttle back and forth. That's definitely the way to do it! It was the perfect getaway before school starts.
