The Nursery

I'm not sure why, but I had the hardest time putting together Grace's nursery. Actually, I know one reason is I'm the the world's worst decision maker. We decided to make the old guest room into her nursery because I loved the soft green walls that had already been painted when we first bought the house. I wanted a green and pink room with a shabby chic theme. I'm not really sure that's how it turned out, but I like the end result. It's a very peaceful, calming room without being overtly pink. I wanted lots of toile in the room, but ironically didn't end up with any. This was a very economical project--I bought almost everything from Marshall's, Ross, Hobby Lobby, or Target (including the bedding at Marshall's). We just need Grace now so she can enjoy her room!
I found these letters when I went to Canton with Destin and Jonesa back in NovemberThe bedding which I like because it ties to the crib with satin ribbons
The crib and mobile

My rocking chair and table for those long nights!

This shelf was in Jake's nursery--we painted it white, and then pink, and then sanded it

The curtains I found at Target--I love the ethereal feeling they have
