This year we brought back Jake's Jets to the 2013
It's My Heart Keep the Beat Walk in Houston. We had a big group of friends and family come and support us and had a wonderful day! Thousands of people came downtown Houston to walk for congenital heart defects. 1 out of 100 children are born with a heart defect and it warms my heart that so many people came to support this cause. Jake is continuing to do so well but we want to continue to be an active part of the CHD community. My goal for the spring is to get back involved writing the
IMH blog as well. We will always be "keeping the beat"!
