We had three packed days of Halloween fun last weekend between trick or treating with friends and our church event. I'm truly enjoying these pre-school days where Halloween truly is about dressing up and innocent fun. Nothing scary…just precious memories. Jake wanted to be Buzz or Woody from Toy Story and had changed his mind every other day of October. I had actually bought both costumes awhile back for him play dress up. They were just the simple nylon costumes so when he decided on Buzz, I made him some wings and a jet pack out of cardboard to make it more fun. We picked up matching gloves at Party City and we had ourselves an official Buzz. I knew this was my last year to decide for Grace what she was going to be so I picked Strawberry Shortcake. I made her red tutu and her apron and think it's the first thing I've made that I'm truly proud of making. What a cute Strawberry Shortcake she turned out to be! Jonesa helped me make her hat for the church party which turned out super cute, too. Both kids acquired way too much candy, but had a memorable three days :) Jake woke up on Monday asking what Halloween party we were going to go to that day. I told him we had 364 more days before thinking about that!

Sunday night we went trick or treating with the Mathews' family. Jake decided to change it up and be Woody for a change. When Addison saw he was Woody, she changed out of her princess dress into her cowgirl costume so she could be Jessie for Jake. So precious!
Trick or Treat!
