Meeting his cousins

The third weekend in April we took another road trip--this time to Marshall for Elsie Jane's first birthday party. We arrived in time to watch our nephew Matthew play baseball for the Mavericks. Jake loved the bright lights and watched the game with his Aunt Jill. Saturday, Ty was able to spend some time with his dad fishing on Caddo Lake--some much needed time away from the city. Jake and I spent the day shopping with Miss Donna downtown Marshall. Saturday night we went over to Jason and Jolie's house for their little girl, Elsie Jane's birthday party. She looked adorable in her party dress and loved playing with the envelopes and cards just as much as opening her presents :) On Sunday we got to go over to Shreveport to go to church with Ty's aunt and uncle, Kenny and Kaye. His Grandad and Marie were also at church along with his cousin Kip. His cousin Katie and her little boy, Landon met us for lunch. Jake had a very eventful weekend meeting Elsie Jane and Landon for the first time!
