Painting Pottery

Last week my friend Misty had the very fun idea to take our kids to paint pottery at a craft store. I've been trying to pack June full of fun activities for Jake and we'd gone to the fountains, the Children's Museum, and Incredible Pizza with the playgroup already so this sounded like a great suggestion for a super hot day. Misty's girls and Jake are just two but they all did really well painting their pottery. The three girls painted these daisy figurines, and Jake and Misty's oldest Caden painted dinosaurs. It only cost $6 a child which I thought was a great deal :) Jake painted his dinosaur blue and green and then he also painted the table quite a bit as well! We left them at the store to be fired and I picked them up yesterday, and they turned out pretty and shiny--Jake's first official work of art..

Jake being silly and refusing to smile :)

I'm pretty sure this is Addison (but it could be Emery)

My attempt to take a picture of all of the kids together...I ended up with Jake looking the wrong way and only one of the triplets, and I don't know where Caden was!

Here's Jake with his dinosaur a few days later after it was fired. He still won't smile for me :)
