American Girl

The American Girl phenomenon has come to Houston. I missed the whole American Girl craze by a few years, but now having a daughter, I see how appealing it is. A huge store with beautiful dolls and countless outfits and accessories…Ty has the Lego Store and I have this :) I agree that most everything in the store is outrageously overpriced, but the dolls are beautiful and they do last. My sister-in-law and precious niece came for a weekend in November so that we could take Elsie Jane and Grace for a girl's day at the American Girl store that just opened in Houston. EJ got her first American Girl doll, Rebecca, and Gracie got a Bitty Baby which she named Zoe Susie.  We also had dinner at the restaurant which is so cute! The girls had so much fun, but maybe not as much fun as Jolie and me. My summer goal is to learn how to use my sewing machine so I can learn to make outfits for Grace and her doll. It is fun to have a girl!
