Jake went into the OR about 10 after 1. He was feeling very good and starting to become very tired thanks to the punch from the anesthesiologist. As of about 3:45 they were finishing hooking up all lines and were getting through all the scar tissue from the last surgery. Everything has to be pressed down from the ribcage before before cutting the sternum. Bypass will be starting within the next couple of hours (hopefully sooner).
The McCathran/Stump families have taken over the 17th floor waiting room at TCH.
