Good Friday was a wonderful day filled with bluebonnets, a picnic, sunshine, a cookout, Easter egg dyeing, and family. It doesn't get much better! Ty had a day off work for the holiday so we had a family picnic at Creekside Park and took annual bluebonnet pictures of the kids. We just spent about 10 minutes snapping some pictures and the kids obliged their mommy in this task. Then, we had lunch on the luscious green grass, and Ty and Jake played catch. We're not sure when Jake discovered a baseball glove, but he found one in the garage when Ty was looking for a frisbee and asked to play catch. Hopefully, his heart will let him play tee-ball one of these years. After catch, the kids played on the playground and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Later in the afternoon we cooked out at the Babb's house and dyed some Easter eggs. Simple pleasures =happiness.
