Our church hosted a community Easter festival this year at one of the Woodlands' parks. We have a new Children's minister at church, and he's starting off with a bang! It was such a fun event with balloons (the booth Ty and I helped with), a rock wall, the Easter bunny, a train, bounce houses, snow cones, BBQ, crafts, and of course an Easter egg hunt. The coolest aspect to me was the fact that there were more people there I didn't recognize than I did. That means this really was an outreach event to the community. Our kids both had a wonderful time and thankfully, Jo Jo and Papa Al were there to help with them while we handed out balloons. Grace loved the snowcones (she ate two!) and the balloons the best. Jake, of course, love the "choo choo train" the best. Jake did pretty well at the Easter egg hunt, and I was proud of Grace for picking up three eggs of her own. We're blessed to be apart of such a wonderful church. I'm pretty sure this will become an annual event :)
(The batteries in my camera died pretty soon after we got there…just a few pictures!)
