A Family 4th of July

We've been blessed during July to spend a lot of quality time with my family. My brother Ryan and this family as well as my parents came for the 4th of July weekend. He and Crystina have 3 kids and all 5 got along remarkably well! We let Gentry and Grace sleep in Grace's room together and we heard giggling for at least an hour each night. The girls truly love each other and it's so very sweet. Hendrix and Jake also get along and Hendrix is very patient with his younger cousin. All the kids adore "baby Morgan," but Jake especially. He insisted on feeding her a bottle and holding her whenever possible.

We spent most of the weekend in the pool since it was so hot, but also took a Saturday trip to the beach at Seaside. We went early before it got hot and had a blast. Jake and Gentry were the bravest and would go out as far as we would let them "swim." Hendrix caught his first fish with Uncle Ty and Morgan was a perfect beach baby and loved the sand. Grace was scared at first but warmed up to the waves before too long. She, once again, was the messiest of the crew and let Gentry cover her in wet sand. Gigi and Poppy were great to help us keep an eye on everyone :)

Everyone left the morning of the 4th and we had a nice, quiet rest of the day with no fireworks this year since there was a ban due to the drought. I didn't mind so much since it made our neighborhood nice and quiet!

I love the blessing of family! It's wonderful to watch the cousins all together :)
