This was our Thanksgiving to spend with JoJo and Papa and Mark, Destin, and Nash and instead of our traditional Thanksgiving, we all went to San Antonio instead! We had a great mini-vacation and the weather and all three kids cooperated so nicely :)
Thursday we just ate lunch, took naps, watched football, and walked along the river walk and rode a water taxi...nice and fairly relaxing really.
Friday and Saturday we spent the days at Sea World! The park was already decked out for Christmas with Christmas music blaring from every loud speaker so I was happy. The shows are all Christmas themed this time of year too plus they have the Polar Express in 4D to watch...lots of Holiday fun!
Jake still loved Shamu the best I think even though he and Ty got drenched again. Grace was unusally terrified of Shamu--she was seriously scared when the whales came out...she is not a fan (although she insists on sleeping with her stuffed Shamu every night since!) She and Nash both probably like the dolphin show the best with Grace specifically loving the ballerina that performed with that show. She got to take a picture with her and told her she was going to be a ballerina someday too.
Jake and Grace both also loved the mini roller coaster they got to ride. Grace was a little too short, but she marched right up there each time and no one said anything :) Nash loved the boat ride the best.
Our day passes our really season passes for next year, too so I know we'll go back sometime next year :)
